Toy Museum

Client: Çorum Municipality             Date: August 2024            Category: Spatial Design

Set in the historical Kaleiçi area of Çorum, the Toy Museum, a project by Çorum Municipality, is designed as a unique cultural space that brings together traditional and modern toy collections. During the museum’s interior design and planning phases, we aimed to create an atmosphere where visitors can explore a wide range of toys, from wooden and plastic toys to classic grocery shop toys. Workshops within the museum offer visitors hands-on experiences in toy-making, while a dedicated VR area presents the fascinating world of digital games.

“To enrich the cultural experience, we integrated augmented reality (AR) technology, allowing visitors to interact with the toy collections in unique ways. Through AR, visitors can instantly access information about the history and making of the toys, making the museum experience more immersive and interactive. Once reconstruction efforts are complete, the museum will open as an educational, entertaining, and memorable space for both children and adults.
