“Sağlamcı Tuna: Yer Bazen Hareket Eder” is a children’s book and digital experience project designed to introduce earthquake awareness to young readers through a calm, understandable, and reassuring narrative. The story follows Tuna, a curious and observant child, as he begins to understand what earthquakes are, how people can prepare for them, and how simple precautions can make everyday environments safer.

Throughout the story, Tuna and his family explore practical steps that can be taken at home to stay prepared. Rather than presenting earthquakes as something frightening, the book encourages children to see them as natural events that can be understood and managed through knowledge, planning, and preparedness.

To enrich the reading experience, the project is accompanied by an augmented reality (AR) supported mobile application. Through the app, children can interact with selected scenes from the book, experience small interactive activities, and explore the story in a new digital dimension.

By connecting the physical book with digital interaction, AR technology transforms reading into a more immersive and playful learning experience. The application also includes audio narration and game-based elements that further strengthen the educational impact of the story.

Sağlamcı Tuna represents the first step in a broader storytelling and learning universe aimed at introducing disaster awareness to children. By combining storytelling, play, and augmented reality technology, the project aims to help children develop an early understanding of safety, preparedness, and resilient living.
