We are thrilled to announce that Kubulab was selected for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s Tech İstanbul Pre-Incubation Program. Throughout the program, the valuable training sessions and mentorship we received have been instrumental in refining our projects, including our environmentally-focused game Gully in Galata, making them more user-friendly and tailored to the city’s needs.

In Gully in Galata, players engage in a unique experience set in Istanbul’s historical Galata district, where they contribute to environmental preservation by cleaning up the streets. Our aim with projects like Gully in Galata is to combine Istanbul’s rich cultural heritage with augmented reality (AR) technology, offering players an experience that is both educational and entertaining. Thanks to the Tech İstanbul program, we were able to enhance our game scenarios from a more user-centric and Istanbul-focused perspective.

We had the privilege of working alongside industry experts and the Tech İstanbul team, and we extend a special thanks to Mehmet Ercek and our mentors for their guidance in shaping our product vision. With the insights gained through this program, we’re excited to continue developing impactful projects that will contribute to Istanbul’s future.
